Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Bonvia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bonvia is a platform that enables merchants to create, sell, and manage digital gift vouchers online. The Service includes a public voucher purchase page, a merchant dashboard, payment processing via Stripe, and voucher delivery via email.

3. Merchant Accounts

To use the Service as a merchant, you must:

  • Provide a valid email address
  • Have a legitimate business or activity for which you sell vouchers
  • Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payments
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Fees

Bonvia charges a platform fee of 3% on each voucher sale. This fee is deducted automatically at the time of purchase. Standard Stripe processing fees also apply and are separate from the Bonvia fee.

5. Voucher Obligations

As a merchant, you are responsible for:

  • Honoring all vouchers sold through the platform
  • Providing the goods or services covered by the voucher
  • Complying with applicable consumer protection laws regarding gift vouchers
  • Setting appropriate expiry dates in accordance with local law

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Sell vouchers for illegal goods or services
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the Service, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Bonvia does not store credit card information.

8. Limitation of Liability

Bonvia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bonvia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, outstanding vouchers remain valid and must be honored by the merchant.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
